Our Honorary Life President Dennis Fitzgeraldhas written a book chronicling his life in the Borough of Ealings Irish community.
Dennis 55 formed the Whistlers 20 years ago to promote sport and Irish Music in Ealing.
The book Great Feeling and Reeling in Ealing will be available via your managersThe book contains more than 100 photographs and is a labour of love showing the growth of the club and changes in Ealing since the Second World War.
The Whistlers now have 12 teams from under 7 to Adults and play in Hillcrest Road Ealing.
The dancers meet on a Tuesday at the Halfway House for Irish music and Dancing.
The book can be ordered from Kirk Publishing on 020 8579 5615 and costs less than a tenner.
All teams are currently looking for kit sponsorship.To sponsor a team for Two seasons we need between 300 and 600 pounds, depending on the size and age of the team.
